To Maxi Skirt or Not to Maxi Skirt?

That is the question! Let us pause in our question to note that its a double blog post day! First ever in my blog history. And now back to the big question: How do we feel about maxi skirts?

Maxi skirts, especially some floral ones remind me so strongly of the 90's. As mentioned before, for me, 90's fashion is eh. There are some, however, that are fresh and look so appealingly comfortable.  Like this one:
This picture makes me excited for spring and summer. I already own 2 maxi skirts but neither are a 90's floral. So I guess maxi skirts for me, personally, will be ok.

Maxi dresses are always a yes for me, I have yet to find a good casual one though. How bout you guys?

Busy Adventures

Well, I'm a terrible blogger. My past 2 weeks have been filled with hopping between sets leaving barely any time for anything, like breathing let alone sleep. I did manage to squeeze in half a day at Disneyland. So needed and re-energizing! A little bit ago I saw Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett. So rich and horses!

Yes, I love horses. And yes the costuming (the colors and the materials) simple yet so rich! The simple lines lend themselves to the full appreciation of the rich and textured fabrics. The deep colors are so striking! The film was good too. I was discussing the other day with my wonderful co-wardrobe-worker about choosing a time period to go back and live in. We both agreed we couldn't choose just one. This time period is definitely on my list; mid-way, if not lower on said list. I do need to clarify that if I went back in time to live I'd have to make sure it was in some wealthier situation. Why go back if I couldn't afford to live the way...ahem dress the way I want. hahaha I crack myself up!

Sunday Adventure

I decided to take a break from work preparations to blog. How good of me.
Dress: INC, Macy's
Shoes: Rocket Dog (borrowed from my sister)
Bracelet: H&M

I have to find my own pair of those cute shoes! They are perfect. They were comfortable enough for church and going out to lunch afterwards. It was also my first time trying this version of a 60's hairstyle. Eventually I'll have it down but I really liked this hairstyle. Must remember to keep using it.
I'm about to embark on a lot of all work and very little play time. So finding time to blog will be a challenge. But we'll see if I just can't keep on top of things.

Busy Busy Adventures

All right, so trying to manage 2 jobs with crazy hours is tiring. It also tends to leave any spare time I have to just trying to catch up on basic things like cleaning. But I finally took pictures of an outfit yay!

Blazer: H&M
T-shirt: Hollister
Military Jeggings: American Eagle
Boots: Target

It was a long day that started with a meeting then loads of walking around to different stores. Yes, I was that person shopping in heels. I always said I wouldn't shop in heels but this one couldn't be helped since I went right after the meeting. The life of a costumer: shopping for something specific and in this case it is not the right season for. At least I can fit in some exercise in, working those muscles in heels for hours. Bright side to everything!
