The Big Day!

Hello, dear readers! It's finally here! The premier of my film "5 Minutes." I wanted to do a fashion post today but have to start getting ready soon so it might not happen. I spent all of the fall season on this film and had such a wonderful time co-writing, costume designing, and being the assistant director! I'm so proud to share this part of my life with you! Here is the trailer (again) and synopsis:
Synopsis (from the Pan African Film Festival): John Stewart is a highly successful managing partner of a large, upscale New Jersey Law Firm and single father who suffers from time/punctuality focused Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. John's life is plagued by loss, guilt and grief as he attempts cope with the untimely deaths of his mother and wife. John's rigid, disciplined lifestyle severely affects his relationship with his teenage son, Sean, who has little appreciation for his father's disorder. Sean's prank of setting his father's clock back 5 minutes leads to a chain of dramatic, action-packed events which culminate in John breaking free from his prison of time sensitivity and causing the restoration of his relationship with his son. Audiences will be drawn into this gripping story and experience the painful, yet cathartic transformation both John and Sean undergo as their lives are turned upside down and inside out as a result of one innocent prank.
